About Karan Joshi

Karan Joshi is a highly accomplished and personable legal professional with a robust academic and practical background. He began his journey at the Schulich School of Business at York University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. Eager to further his expertise, Karan pursued his Juris Doctorate (JD) at the University of Windsor’s Faculty of Law, honing his skills in critical legal analysis and advocacy.

Prior to joining Diamond and Diamond in 2024, Karan worked at a boutique real estate and personal injury firm and completed his articling with the City of Toronto’s Legal Division. There, he had the unique opportunity to work across five diverse practice areas — Real Estate, Municipal Law, Planning Law, Employment Law, and Civil Litigation — allowing him to build a well-rounded legal foundation. His work with the City of Toronto further showcased his ability to navigate complex legal matters with professionalism and precision.

Karan’s strong academic achievements are complemented by his approachable and personable demeanor. Known for his excellent communication skills and genuine interest in helping others, Karan is the type of legal professional who values building strong relationships with colleagues and clients alike. His ability to connect with people on a personal level, while delivering sound legal advice, makes him a trusted and reliable figure in any professional setting.

Outside of his legal career, Karan enjoys a balanced lifestyle. He is passionate about traveling, finds peace in taking long walks through nature, loves trying new restaurants and cafes; and spending quality time with family and friends.
