About Jillian Carrington

Jillian Carrington attended the University of Winnipeg for her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice Studies, where she was awarded the Gold Medal upon graduation for highest academic achievement. She subsequently obtained her juris doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2011. Jillian began her legal career in criminal defence, where she became partner at an esteemed criminal law firm in downtown Toronto. While there, she obtained extensive trial experience at both the Ontario and Superior Court of Justice, in various jurisdictions throughout Ontario, protecting and defending the rights of those accused. In 2017, Jillian joined Diamond & Diamond Lawyers LLP and enjoys a practice of both personal injury and criminal defence litigation. She represents victims of motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, dog attacks, brain injuries and long-term disability claims, as well as those facing criminal charges. Jillian is experienced in representing individuals facing minor to very serious charges, including theft, fraud, robbery, sexual assault, domestic violence, gun possession, attempted murder and murder. She does not accept Legal Aid retainers. Jillian enjoys spending time with friends and family and cuddling with her rescue dog Maddie.
