Daryl Singer Shares His Thoughts on the TTC's Latest Statement Regarding the Toronto Subway Pushing Incident

Diamond & Diamond’s Head of Commercial and Civil Litigation, Daryl Singer, was featured on NEWSTALK1010 as a guest to provide insights on the TTC’s latest statement regarding the subway pushing incident. In this news podcast, Daryl Singer comments on TTC’s claim that Bloor-Yonge, the subway push victim, was standing too close to the edge of the platform in legal defence.

“It’s absolutely offensive to me that they would say that I understand they have to defend their case. I understand that there are other defences they have raised, which I’m happy to argue with them over in court. I’m sure that will prevail at the end of the day. But to go this far and blame the victim in such a heinous incident after she suffered so tragically, it’s beyond the pale.”
