November 2025:

We write to update you on the status of the Class Action lawsuit concerning Shannon Campbell et al. v. One Stop Strategy Group Inc./Groupe de Stratรฉgie One Stop Inc. and ATPI Travel and Events Canada Inc., in which our firm is acting as Class Counsel.

After careful consideration of all relevant factors including the current circumstances of the case, the costs and associated risks of continued litigation, and the prospects of achieving a successful result, our firm has made the decision to discontinue the class action proceeding.
We intend to file a Notice of Application with the Vancouver Court Registry to request an Order to File a Notice of Discontinuance. We acknowledge that this decision may be disappointing, however, the decision was reached following a thorough and good-faith assessment of the merits and practical realities of the action.

A class action is a lawsuit which provides a method for a large group of people with common claims to come together to advance one claim on behalf of the group. Class actions are more efficient and cost-effective and allow for groups of people with common claims to gain access to the legal system and seek justice on their behalf.

A certification motion is where the court determines whether an action can be pursued as a class action. The court considers factors such as whether the claims of the class members raise common legal and/or factual issues and whether a class action is the preferable method of pursuing the claims (as opposed to individual actions).
