Veterans Disability Benefits Delay Certification
We write to provide you with a further update beyond the update provided in June 2024. On June 20, 2024, Justice Sutherland granted certification of this class action. A copy of Justice Sutherland’s decision can be found here.
The Attorney General of Canada appealed Justice Sutherland’s decision. The appeal court set aside Justice Sutherland’s order and remitted the matter to him for reconsideration. The Court of Appeal’s decision can be found here. On May 29th, 2025, our team will attend a case conference before Justice Sutherland to discuss the next steps for this matter. We will post another update after the case conference.
