Everyday Heroes
We often overlook our everyday heroes in our community that help us thanklessly. So as the weather is getting colder we are painfully reminded that fall is around the corner. With that we have to do our back to school shopping. Having a son starting JK I have bought I have just finished mine.
So remember, when you are walking your little one to school, say a special thank you to your local crossing guard. Crossing guards are so often an underappreciated yet highly important job that we tend to overlook. Another thanks to school bus drivers that take our noisy and difficult little angels to school safely. . Do not forget to say thank you to those that are helping our children get to school safely.

Diamond and Diamond is hosting our first annual Safety Day at Edithvale Park September 7, 2013 between 1-3. I will give you more details in next weeks column just save the date. It will be a fun day and a great reminder to kids about getting to school safely.
